Conroe Police Lt. Jimmy Waller, injured in the weekend storms that produced a tornado in Trinity County, has tragically died.
On Facebook, the Conroe Police Department wrote:
It is with great sadness that we have to share with you the passing of Lt. Jimmy Waller.
As you are aware, Jimmy was a fighter and he fought hard to the end.
After multiple surgeries, physicians determined that his injuries were too great to sustain life. His family members were able to spend time with him prior to his passing.
Please keep Jimmy’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they make arrangements for his final goodbye.
